Not Doing It All, Just Doing What Matters Right Now.

THIS SEASON ISN’T ABOUT DOING EVERYTHING
Lately, my life has looked a little different.
I’m still working full-time. I’m still doing client work. I’m still building my brand. But if I’m being honest, this season has been more focused on client work and planning my wedding than pouring into my brand the way I usually do.
That’s been a major adjustment.
My brand is still a priority. It always will be. Designing products that help people build a life with intention is something I genuinely love. It’s probably my favorite part of everything I do. But right now, I’ve had to scale that back a bit. I’ve just had to be realistic about my time and energy.
I think that’s something we don’t talk about enough.
Sometimes growth doesn’t look like doing more. Sometimes it looks like choosing what matters most in the season you’re in.
DESIGNING A WEDDING THAT ACTUALLY FEELS LIKE US
We officially set a date! Early fall of this year.
We’re keeping it small, around 25 people max, and I honestly love that. It feels intentional and calm, not overwhelming.
I’ve been designing all of the floral arrangements myself using silk flowers, and putting together decor from places like Amazon and Temu. I also built out a full wedding style board on Pinterest, which has been one of my favorite parts of the process.
If you want to see it, let me know! You’ve already seen the Save-the-dates I designed myself, I shared these on socials last week.
There’s something really special about designing something so personal from the ground up. It feels very aligned with who I am creatively.

THE ONLY WAY I’M MANAGING ALL OF THIS
Working full-time and doing all of this on the side has been stressful. I won’t pretend it’s not.
But I’ve been approaching it differently lately.
I’m taking it one day at a time.
I use my planner to map out what actually needs to get done each day. Not everything. Just what’s necessary. And anything extra is a bonus.
If I have the energy, I’ll do more. If I don’t, I don’t force it.
That’s been a big shift for me.
I’ve been giving myself more grace and reminding myself that I don’t have to do everything. It’s okay if things stay unchecked on my list. It’s okay to rest.
“I don’t have to do it all. I just have to do what matters today.”
I HAVE TO TELL YOU THIS LIFE CHANGING DISCOVERY
Okay, side note, but also not really because this has been life-changing for me.
I have dealt with hormonal acne for years. I had horrible acne in high school and have still had regular breakouts since college. I am 29 and still get pimples regularly.
I’ve tried everything. Different treatments, skincare routines, cleansers, moisturizers. At some point, I just accepted that acne was part of me.
Well… the past few weeks, I started drinking Olipop sodas, eating the Kind bars (granola bar brand), and just trying to increase my fiber intake overall. **not sponsored, these are just the brands I have been consuming.
And MY ACNE IS GONE.
Like… I haven’t had a pimple in 3 weeks.
I cannot remember the last time that happened. Probably before puberty.
This genuinely feels like a miracle, and I wanted to share it in case anyone else is struggling with hormonal acne. I have also been trying to eat more clean, drinking lots of water, and getting movement regularly. So it could be a combination of all those things. But it seems like getting more fiber was the missing piece I needed.
Here is some of the science for you to explain this better:
There is emerging research showing that diet, gut health, and insulin regulation can influence hormonal balance and acne. Fiber plays a role in:
- Supporting gut health
- Helping regulate blood sugar levels
- Potentially influencing hormone balance indirectly
For conditions like Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, higher fiber intake may help improve insulin sensitivity, which can support hormone regulation over time.

- American Journal of Clinical Nutrition: fiber and glycemic control
Nutrition Info:
- Women should aim for about 21–25g of fiber per day
- Olipop: ~9g fiber
- KIND bars: ~5–7g depending on the bar
I can’t explain how life-changing this has been for me. I have so much more confidence in my appearance, which I know is not everything, but it does change the way I show up daily. It is such a relief knowing that I have found some relief for my acne with my wedding coming up in a few months!
“I spent years trying to fix my skin externally when my body needed support internally.”
I NEEDED A CREATIVE RESET
Lately, my content on socials has been feeling a little stale to me. I wasn’t feeling excited to create, which is usually a sign that something needs to shift.
So I’m starting a new content series called “things I’m currently obsessed with”.
I’m really excited about this because it feels fun again. Less pressure, more personality.
Make sure you’re following along on Instagram and Facebook so you don’t miss it!

FILLING MY LIFE WITH THINGS THAT FEEL GOOD
I’ve also been really into home decor lately.
My fiancé and I bought our first house last July, and I’ve been slowly making it feel like home. I’ve been going to local thrift stores and finding some amazing pieces.
If you’re following me on socials, you’ve seen a lot of my coffee table the past couple of months, and you know I’ve been loving styling it. Almost everything on it is thrifted, including the crystal candle holders.
There’s something about surrounding yourself with things you love that just changes your energy.
Especially when other areas of life feel heavy.

“When life feels heavy, I’m focused on what feels good.”
HOW I’M STAYING GROUNDED IN A BUSY SEASON
I’m juggling a lot right now.
A full-time job. Client work. A growing brand. A wedding. Life.
And some days, it feels like a lot.
My day job has felt especially heavy lately, and I’ve been really intentional about trying not letting that energy bleed into everything else.
Here’s what’s helping me stay grounded:
Focus on what actually matters each day
Not everything. Just what moves your life forward.
Lower the expectation of “doing it all”
You’re allowed to have seasons where things slow down.
Protect your energy
Not every task deserves access to your full effort.
Create small moments of joy
Coffee. music. lighting a candle. rearranging a space.
Stay present
You don’t have to figure out the whole week. Just today.
I’m not doing everything perfectly right now. But I am showing up. And in this season, that’s enough.
